Habit Control

Hypnosis is a very effective tool for changing You may consciously want to change a hurtful habit but feel stuck and
unable to change the self-defeating behavior patterns. You may feel that you have no choice but to continue to do what you know on some level is not in your best interest.
The hurtful or unwanted habit seems to have a mind of its own. As a result, hurtful habit behaviors are repeated automatically, often with little conscious awareness.
This situation arises because your hurtful habit is controlled by the subconscious part of your mind, and the subconscious is not as easily communicated with as is the conscious mind.
Thus, the subconscious may not know that it needs to change the behavior that it controls. The self-defeating behavior may have originated long ago as a way for you to cope with anxiety.
Through repetition, it became imprinted in your subconscious. the use of hypnosis and hypnotic language, we can communicate with your subconscious mind and help it to understand that
the hurtful habit is no longer needed as a coping mechanism because there are other choices. Once your subconscious understands and accepts this information, it cannot ignore it.
It has to act on it and begin to change the behavior that you want to consciously change.

Self-defeating habits that respond well to hypnosis include unwanted behaviors such as:

1.Nail biting
2.Thumb sucking
3.Hair pulling
4.Daytime and nocturnal bruxism (tooth grinding and jaw clenching)
5.Nervous tics
6.Problem eating patterns (e.g., overeating, cravings for junk food and sweets)
7.Problem drinking
8.Smoking
9.Procrastination

Many simple habits that have no real pay-off (e.g., nail biting, thumb sucking, and in many cases, smoking) can be effectively changed in one session with hypnosis . More complex habits typically require several sessions. The key is that you must decide to change and want to change. Hypnosis cannot make you do something you do not want to do. With hypnosis, you learn better self-control. In the hypnotic state, with your permission and cooperation, the doorway to your subconscious is opened and it is possible to provide information that your subconscious needs to have to change the behavior that you want to change.
